Moderated by Emily Galvin Almanza has served as a public defender in both California and New York, and now works to transform public defense nationwide through her nonprofit service program, Partners for Justice.
KING PHILIP’S BELT: A STORY OF WAMPUM
For the first time in almost over 300 years the Mashpee and Aquinnah Native Wampanoag people are weaving a new ceremonial wampum belt in hopes this belt will “call out” to the legendary belt once worn by Sachem King Philip (Metacom). After, Metacom’s death at the hands of colonists in 1676, his belt was sent to the King of England but never arrived. Was it lost to history or does it still exist?
R.I.P. T-SHIRTS
R.I.P. T-Shirts takes an intimate look at gun violence, and the aftermath it has on young teenagers, through the eyes of a T-shirt shop owner just outside Washington, D.C. Each day, families and friends of recently murdered young Black people visit Jonathan Robinson’s shop, commissioning wearable tributes to their loved ones.

They co-directed/co-produced THE NEWBURGH STING (Peabody Award), STONEWALL UPRISING (Peabody Award) THE CHESHIRE MURDERS for HBO, and SCOPES: THE BATTLE OVER AMERICA’S SOUL for The History Channel (Peabody Award). JOCKEY won an Emmy, SAY HER NAME: THE LIFE AND DEATH OF SANDRA BLAND won the Women’s Film Critics Circle, and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Television Documentary.

Grace Harry is an artist, creator, executive, change agent, and “modern muse.” An entrepreneur and self-described “forever 11 year old,” she has helped the biggest companies and artists on the planet push their creative expression and share their stories.
Kate’s film SOUTHERN COMFORT won the The Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, The Berlin Film Fest Special Jury Award, First Prize at Hot Docs and Seattle Film Festival, and The Grierson Award in England.
