Followed by a live Q&A with director John Stimpson!

When an ambitious pastry chef returns to her small-town roots in Door County, Wisconsin for the holidays, she discovers she must choose between her dream job in Chicago and her family’s struggling orchard business—with a little help from her high school sweetheart, a long-lost cherry pie recipe and a bit of Christmas magic.

John Stimpson operates his production company, H9 Films, out of Worcester, Massachusetts where he writes, directs, produces and edits motion pictures. Integrally involved in the making of over twenty-five feature films, his movies play all over the world. The Legend of Lucy Keyes starring Julie Delpy and Justin Theroux, A Christmas Kiss with Elisabeth Rohm and Laura Breckenridge, The Wrong Car starring Danielle Savre and Francia Raisa, and Ghost Light with Roger Bart, Shannyn Sossamon and Carol Kane top his list of best-known films. Recently, John has had a string of holiday films on The Hallmark Channel, Lifetime Network, AMC+ and now Great American Family. His newest project A Cherry Pie Christmas premiers this holiday season on GAF. Bates Wilder and John have collaborated on multiple projects including The Legend of Lucy Keyes, Deadly Obsession and Letters to Santa. A graduate of Harvard College, John earned his degree in Visual and Environmental Studies and was President of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest theatrical organization in the country.
