LILLY is a dramatic feature film based on the remarkable life of fair pay icon Lilly Ledbetter, the Alabama tire factory supervisor who took her case against the Goodyear Tire Company all the way to the Supreme Court and for whom President Obama named his first piece of legislation, The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act. Many know of Lilly’s political achievements, but few know the personal journey. The cast includes Academy Award-nominated Patricia Clarkson as Lilly, John Benjamin Hickey as her husband Charles and Thomas Sadoski as her dedicated attorney, Jon Goldfarb.

Rachel Feldman is a veteran director in television. LILLY is her first feature film.

Feldman’s work has been broadcast on: ABC, CBS, NBC, Amazon, SyFy and Lifetime. Recent credits include the pilot and first season of: THE BAXTERS, and multiple episodes of BLUE BLOODS, THE ROOKIE & CRIMINAL MINDS. The screenplay for LILLY was selected for the Athena List, Breaking Through the Lens, and awarded a NYWFT Ravenal Foundation Grant. Feldman’s pilot KINKS won the ScreenCraft Best Pilot Award, WGA Best Spec Pilot, WGA Drama Queens, and was the US selection for Cannes Series MIPTV. Other screenplays have been produced by Lifetime Television and optioned by Double Nickel Entertainment, Marc Platt Productions, Mark Canton, Lakeshore Entertainment, eOne and ABCFamily.

She holds an MFA from NYU in film directing where her graduate thesis film won Best Short Film at New York and Chicago film festivals, she later taught directing in the MFA program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Feldman started out in the industry a storyboard artist for well-known directors on studio pictures. She was a professional child actor, best known for voicing Lucy in Peanuts animation.

Feldman is former chair of the DGA Women’s Steering Committee and an activist for gender parity in the film industry.
