The Story telling and videos to share with you of more than 30 years of show business In New York City and Los Angeles. Broadway Divas have also done television and film and will share clips of these that you will recognize right away. Come and enjoy the talents of these lovely ladies and I promise we won’t need to convince you next year!!!

Cleo King is excited about the summer release of her new Netflix animated series HOOPS where she plays principal Opal. Recently she was seen in the recurring role of Robyn on GREY’S ANATOMY, and was included in its 300th episode. On MOM as Sandy head of the woman’s shelter and playing Mrs. Poe, on the hit series LEMONY SNICKETS, A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS directed by Barry Sonnenfeld.
She has appeared alongside some of Tinsel Town’s greatest stars, The HANGOVER dir. by Todd Phillips, PINEAPPLE EXPRESS with Seth Rogan dir. by Judd Apatow, TRANSFORMERS IV with Mark Wahlberg dir. by Michael Bay – Exec Producer Steven Spielberg, The boss of Kate Winslett in THE LIFE OF DAVID GALE.

Cleo King recently finished a Chase commercial & a Walmart spot as well. And lastly she did a pilot called Boon & an episode of Minx!! She is ecstatic to perform in Martha’s Vineyard!

Virginia Ann Woodruff has performed on Broadway in the original Oprah Winfrey presents THE COLOR PURPLE, VIOLET, LEAP OF FAITH, ALL SHOOK UP and SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ; National Tours include: The Who’s Tommy, Once on This Island, The Wiz. She portrayed the role of Effie in Dreamgirls, as well as in Guys and Dolls, The Full Monty, Rock of Ages, Man of LaMancha, Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner in Beehive – The 60’s Musical, Once Upon A Mattress, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Avenue X, Abyssinia, Mama I Want to Sing, and Signed, Sealed, Delivered – The Music of Stevie Wonder (written and directed by Billy Porter). Her film/tv credits include Harlem Grace, Jump the Broom, Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver plus off-camera vocals on Legally Blonde II, Preachin’ to the Choir, The Wiz:Live and America’s Got Talent. Ms. Woodruff recorded and toured in London a dance single titled “Survive” and has had opportunities to perform backup-vocals for several recording artists such as Whitney Houston, Michael Bolton, Destiny’s Child and Sam Smith. Virginia had the honor to sing with Michael Jackson’s 30th Anniversary Concert, taped for CBS. She has also written, directed and produced, Not an Ordinary Day-a short film and plays Antoinette: Lost in a Changing World), Seen and Not Heard while penning one of her autobiographical books School of not so hard Knocks. Charles Reese
Charles Reese is a multi-hyphenated actor, author, cultural architect and Founder/ Principal of Teeth and Eyes Communications, LLC. He has carved out his own lane in the entertainment industry including 25 years of widely acclaimed work as an advocate and purveyor of writer- civil rights activist, James Baldwin.
Reese is known in theatrical circles for his critically acclaimed performance in James Baldwin: A Soul on Fire by the late playwright, Howard B. Simon, produced at the Tony Award-winning Woodie King Jr’s New Federal Theatre. Critic David DeWitt of The New York Times called the play, “…funny, thrilling, and wise, buoyed by the passionate performance of Charles Reese in the title role.”
Additional theatre credits: In Dahomey (New Federal Theatre); Freedom Fighters & Friends (Arena Stage); Julie Hebert’s St. Joan and the Dancing Sickness (Open Fist Theatre); and Myla Churchill’s Griot Trio (Aaron Davis Hall). On Television Reese can be seen as the feisty chef, Jalil Baldwin on the American TV sitcom, Beauty and the Baller written by Emmy Award winning writer- producer, Michael Ajakwe, Jr. Now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. A recurring role on the soap-opera series, A House Divided (Amazon Prime Video/ALLBLK). He was also in Law & Order, Between the Lines and Grapevine. To commemorate the year long 100th birthday of the late writer, James Baldwin– Reese aka The Charles Reese Experience recently released his first spoken word poetry album James Baldwin & Me: A Centennial Tribute. The album is Grammy eligible and is now available on all ditigal streaming platforms.
