A newly released, sensational documentary, ADVANCED STYLE represents the whirlwind story of the fashion blog turned international phenomenon. The film showcases seven New York fashionistas who differ from the norm in one distinct way: they are all above 60 years old. These sassy and spirited older women utilize their eclectic personal styles to enhance their outlook on aging. The film challenges conventional notions regarding our culture’s increasing obsession with youth as it celebrates bold fashion, and life, choices across the board. Based on Ari Seth Cohen’s blog of the same name, this fabulous documentary film portrays how seven stylish women aged 62-95 redefine conservative notions of beauty and age. Above all else, Cohen’s inspirational film helps the viewer gain insight into a more blissful way of aging.
