The MV Film Society will be presenting a weekend of documentaries features that celebrate the convergence of music, culture, and film.
In collaboration with MVY Radio.
Music and film flow naturally together. Our first-ever Film + Music Festival will bring you closer to the music you love, or introduce you to some you’ve never known.

• Eight Films covering all genres of music
• Screenings at 4, 7 and 9:30 PM each day (no 9:30 on Sunday)
• Opening Night reception
• Live music performances
• Post-screening Q&As with guests from the film, music, and the cultural arts world

Friday, June 14
4:00 pm – THE MIGHTY UKE (preceded by Uke performance by Featherstone Uke Jam at 3:30 pm)
6:30 pm – Opening Night reception – Wes Nagy on MVCMS piano in the Film Center lobby
7:30 pm – GOOD OL’ FREDA premiere – Introduced by Ray Whitaker, mvyradio’s Just Four Guys
9:30 pm – SOUND CITY – Audience winner at SXSW Festival
Saturday, June 15
4:00 pm – “DOWNLOADED: THE STORY OF NAPSTER” premiere
