The MV Table Tennis Club was established in Aquinnah in 2005. Originally named Quinapong, it remained there for three years before moving to various locations around the island, to include W Tisbury School, YMCA, MVRHS and currently the Tisbury Council on Aging at 34 Pine Tree Road. The club includes members ranging in age from 20 to 90. MVTTC is a non-profit with board members Bob O’Orourke, Albert Lau, Bruce Golden and Rae Manson Carter, as president, vice president, treasurer and secretary respectively. Play is scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm, and some weekends. All ages and abilities are welcome. Racquets, balls, and a robot are available for use. Table tennis is an olympic sport with many benefits: cardio, strength, balance and of course, lots of fun!
