The animation showcase will encompass extraordinary international animated films curated by Signe Baumane from the past year. Signe was born in Latvia, educated in Moscow, lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She has made 15 animated shorts and one feature film, “Rocks In My Pockets”.
You, the audience, will decide on the best of our selections. Be prepared to be wowed!

Directing duo Tom Brown and Daniel Gray met at film school, their graduation film, “t.o.m.” won numerous awards across international film festivals. Although they now live in New York and Budapest, they continue to work together, under the name of Holbrooks, across continents and time zones.
Mauro Carraro was born in the North‐East of Italy. After studying engraving, photography and graphic design at the Polytechnic of Milan, he moved to France and was admitted to the school Supinfocom Arles. Now he lives in Geneva (Switzerland), where he works at Nadasdy Film studio.
I am a Colombian animator currently living in Canada, where I am finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and starting a new project. I also work in the summer as a Layout/Posing Artist at DHX Media in Vancouver. In 2013 I had the opportunity to attend the Classical Animation Program at Vancouver Film School where I directed my first two shorts Pursuit and Religatio.
