Parking at the Tisbury Marketplace

Dear Movie Patrons and Members,

If attending a 1:00 pm matinee, or a 4:00 pm film on a day when the retail and offices are open, please refrain from parking in any 1-hour spots for a film. There is usually plenty of unmarked parking available along the waterside of the parking lot (see diagram scroll below) or in the spaces behind the film center or along the buildings in back.

The trustees of the TMP have instituted 1-hour parking restrictions for all spaces from the NET RESULT to ROCCO’s PIZZA for all hours, however after 5:00 pm you may park in these 1-hour spaces for a film.

If attending a 7:30 pm night time film, please refrain from parking in front of the NET RESULT at the entrance of the TMP or in the 4 parking spaces directly in front of ROCCO’s PIZZA marked 15-minute parking if these restaurants are open, these are for “take-out” customers that are just picking up until closing (these are marked 15-minute spaces only).  Yet, if these restaurants are CLOSED, then you may even park there. You can park in spaces marked “Employee Parking” when free.

If the TMP retailer shops and offices are closed (after 5:00 pm), you may park in any 1-hour restricted areas for a nighttime movie. 

Please try to park in back of the Film Center building first for a film (there are about 20 spaces in our back lot) or there is parallel parking on both  side of the alley (see photo below), against the low stone wall and along the buildings (behind Toy Box/barbershop). Accessed by turning right at the end of Net Result outdoor seating (look for our sign) as you first drive into the TMP or going right at Mark Hutker Architects offices at the back of the horseshoe. Please use our convenient back entrance.

Usually on SUNDAYS only, all businesses are closed except for the Film Center, Net Result, and Catboat Coffee – you can pretty much park anywhere.

**CAR POOLING is recommended — if you know of friends attending this performance, please drive together. Or walk in from town if you can, it’s a short walk on new town sidewalks. We also have a bike rack if you’d like to bike to the center, its across from Catboat coffee. 

Drive safely and always be aware of pedestrians walking through the parking lot.
