The newest film by director Fabien Constant, best known for The Vogue Paris Fashion Night Out, is Mademoiselle C,a documentary that chronicles former French Vogue editor-in-chief and fashion stylist Carine Roitfeld as she moves to New York to launch her own magazine. The ‘C’ stands for Carine who, after acting as Tom Ford’s muse at Gucci in the 90s and working for a decade as the editor-in-chief for French Vogue, left to pursue her dream of creating her own magazine. Roitfield is well known in the fashion community for her effortless chic style.  Her quintessential look includes pencil skirts that emphasize her leggy Parisian figure and plunging blouses.  She aimed to utilize her personal, sophisticated style sense to launch her own magazine.  This documentary delves into the gap between fiction and reality in the fashion realm and will intrigue anyone with the slightest interest in fashion or the industry.  Inspiring, edgy and chic, Mademoiselle C brings out the fashionista in all of us and is a can’t miss film.
